All engines are stripped
to the bare block, cleaned and inspected. The block deck area is
serviced before the cylinders are rebored and the main bearing caps
are checked for proper alignment. The crankshaft is ground and
polished while the connecting rods are rebuilt. The piston end of
the rods are rebushed and the crankshaft end is surfaced and bored.
We always install new connecting rod bolts and nuts. After new
freeze plugs are installed, the block is painted and ready for
assembly. The engine is assembled with new main and rod bearings,
oil pump, seals, timing chains, chain guides, and chain tensioner.
Tolerances are checked on all bearing surfaces. |
All rebuilt units carry a 12
month warranty for repair or replacement of unit only.

Cylinder heads are stripped,
cleaned, inspected, surfaced as necessary and painted the correct engine
color. New cam bearings are installed while bronze silicon valve guides,
and teflon seals are fitted with new intake and exhaust valves, springs
and keepers. Your camshafts are installed and adjusted to correct
clearances. Late model heads are fitted with exhaust tappet hold down
kits. Worn tappets, tappet guides and valve seats are replaced as needed
at an extra charge.
